Collaborations

When a production wants to cast inclusively, certain questions arise. In most cases, these are:

- Can these (potential) actors be found on platforms?

- If not, where can I find the right actor?

- Are they available?

- How resilient are they?

- What do I need to pay particular attention to?

- Is it possible to shoot outside their place of residence?

- Who will assist/support them?

- Who will coach them?

Yes, there are a few things that need to be clarified before a production decides on someone. But there's no need to worry; there is plenty of talent on the market, you just have to find it, and that's where I

come in.

When we work together, I will support you in all the areas you need (see below). You don't have to worry about a thing. From scouting to the end of filming, I will take care of everything and find the right actor for you, prepare him/her, and assist him/her and the director on set. Scouting usually takes between 2-3 months, but it's impossible to give a general estimate.

Examples of how we could work together:

1. Do you only need support with scouting/casting? Then my work would be done once the role has been successfully cast.

2. Do you already have someone but need support with the preparations and on set? Then I would coach the actor and act as an assistant on set.

I offer my services flexibly and you can combine them according to your wishes.

Scouting

Are you looking for a suitable actor for your project, whether for a leading role, supporting role, or minor part? Then I'd be happy to help. I have my own database of (potential) actors and would be pleased to compile a list for you upon request. If the actor you're looking for isn't on the list, I'll start searching and find your ideal candidate. My network is extensive and covers the entire country.

Coaching

Preparing for a shoot is extremely important.

This simply means that I coach the actor(s)/actresses beforehand within a pre-agreed timeframe. Rehearsing the scenes in advance results in a smoother flow, saves time, and, most importantly, makes the actor's work on set easier. In consultation with the director, I can also create videos/films of the rehearsals upon request and submit them to the director. This ensures the best possible preparation for filming.

24/7 care

Filming locations often vary considerably and can be spread across Germany and even abroad. Therefore, it's highly likely that commuting won't be possible, and the actor will need to stay in the respective city for the duration of the shoot. During this time, I'll be by their side at all times. As their point of contact, it's especially important to me that they feel comfortable in their new surroundings and can fully concentrate on the filming.

Assistant Director

Of course, I also support the director on set with the staging.

Through my empathy, I can elicit a certain performance from the actors using words, gestures, and specific actions. Therefore, I always work closely with the director to achieve the desired result within the given timeframe.

Casting

As with all actors, a casting call is usually unavoidable. To find the perfect performer, I support the entire team throughout the casting process. This begins with pre-castings. For these, I travel to potential participants for a live casting, for whom there is only an "About Me" video. During these two or three scenes, we assess whether they possess a certain talent and whether an invitation to a full casting would be worthwhile. At the live casting, I watch and listen carefully, note important details, and then consult with the director and other team members. If requested, I can also act as a scene partner, should the situation require it.
